PBC Biomed executed an extensive education programme in 2023 – some key moments are captured in the image below!
As well as offering exciting updates on the development of our technologies, the programme also facilitated meaningful engagement with our industry, research and clinician networks.
At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Conference in March (Las Vegas), we met with our US-based collaborators to continue important conversations on the future of our projects, and shared some exciting advancements on our innovation programmes with the industry-dominant audience in attendance.
Our Chief Science Officer Gerard Insley co-facilitated an OCP Workshop at the Bioceramics 33 event in Solothurn, Switzerland in October, creating a forum for the world’s leading experts and industrial representatives to showcase their latest advances in #OCP R&D.
Part 2 of our ‘Strengthening the Bond’ Symposium Series aired at the Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting in Seattle, also held in October. Our global panel of surgeon experts discussed ‘A New Look at Biomaterials as Fixation Devices’, featuring OsStic® technology, which has since been awarded #breakthroughdevice designation by the #FDA.
We look forward to further successful meetings at this year’s events – our programme to date is as follows:
– ODT Forum. Memphis, April 24th
– ESTROT. Helsinki, June 10th -13th
– OMTEC. Chicago, June 11th – 13th
– OTA. Montreal, October 23rd – 26th
