Irish Womens Hockey

,

We were delighted to have Niamh Carey on-site at the PBC Biomed office this week!

Following a remarkable year balancing her role with us alongside her commitments to Women’s Irish Hockey, Niamh continues to exemplify dedication, resilience, and high performance both on and off the field.

Niamh joined PBC Biomed as a member of our clinical affairs team earlier this year through the Athlete Friendly Employer Network run by Sport Ireland Institute — a fantastic initiative that helps elite athletes build and maintain professional careers while competing at the highest level.

To round off a fantastic year, the Irish women’s hockey team will take part in the first of three rounds of the FIH pro-league in Dublin, from 10th-14th December. They will play four matches, two against Belgium and two against England. The matches will take place in the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown – this is the first time Ireland will compete in this league featuring the top 9 countries in the World.

We’re proud to support Niamh in her dual career journey and look forward to her continued success in sport and in PBC Biomed.
