Biomimetic Innovations Ltd is committed to accelerating medical innovation through the development of OsStic™, a novel bone adhesive technology inspired by biology.
The company was founded following a decade-long collaboration between GP Bio Ltd and PBC Biomed Ltd, combining their deep expertise in biomaterials and bone repair. Our goal is to commercialize OsStic™ across a wide range of applications as a biomimetic adhesive for both skeletal and soft tissue repair.
Biomimetic Innovations Ltd operates as an affiliate of PBC Biomed, a global medical device company specializing in design, development, and manufacturing, with headquarters in Shannon, Ireland, and offices in Memphis, Tennessee, and Chamonix, France.

Shannon, Ireland. March, 2026. Biomimetic Innovations Ltd, an affiliate of PBC Biomed – an Irish medical device company specialising in biomimetic materials, today announced approval by MHRA for a first-in-human clinical study evaluating the safety and early performance of OsStic™ in periarticular fractures.

OsStic™ Receives FDA ‘Breakthrough Device’ Designation.
Shannon, Ireland. January, 2024: Biomimetic Innovations Ltd today announced that OsStic™ has been granted ‘Breakthrough Device’ designation by the FDA. The proposed indication statement for this novel new technology is; ” OsStic™ Synthetic Injectable Bone Void Filler is a structural, mechanically enhanced bioadhesive for reduction, provisional fixation, or void filling of peri-articular fractures or defects to enhance structural stability where standard fixation alone cannot provide sufficient support for functional mobilisation.”
