An exciting week lies ahead for Irish Hockey Teams!
Season 7 of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) Pro League – the “League of the Best” – is on the way, and for the first time ever, the Irish Senior Women’s team will compete.
Even better, the opening matches will be played in Dublin, with Ireland, England and Belgium (Women) and Germany, England and Belgium (Men) coming to compete on Irish soil.
With the league offering qualification for major international tournaments — including the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games — it’s set to be a huge moment for Irish sport.
The first match for the Women’s team is against Belgium this Wednesday 10th at 2pm in the Sports Ireland Campus. Let’s go Niamh Carey and team!
